2026 Sixth Graders will be heading to Sly Park on October 12th – 16th, 2026!
Many years ago now, Breen Elementary started a tradition: our 6th grade field trip to Sly Park Environmental Education Center (an outdoor, hands-on science school located in the El Dorado National Forest outside of Pollock Pines, CA).
Sly Park emphasizes ecological and environmental education and covers Next Generation Science Standards for 6th grade, with instruction led by on-staff credentialed teachers. This educational program is thematically presented and effectively connects science, history, social science, math, language arts, visual and performing arts, and physical education.

The total cost for each student is $400.00.
We would appreciate you sending a $100 deposit by April 7, 2026 at the latest. Checks should be made payable to Breen PTC Student Fund or you can pay the deposit or full amount online at the Bobcat Spirit Shop.
